There are so many ways to establish yourself as an expert! What are you currently doing to expand that knowledge of yours? Are you thinking linear? Do you want to do more, but are unsure how to do it and where to start? One of the first ways to start is to create a list of all the different ways your products and services can be packaged.
You can…
1. Write a book or e-book- Take what you know and put together a quick book or an ebook that can be sold or given away! You can also self-publish a book very quickly.

2. Create an Audio Program- Take what you know and create an audio program, on CD’s , DVD’s , or streaming video.

3.Video Presentations- Have some killer content on a video and upload it to sites such as YouTube.

4. Group Coaching Programs- Put together a framework for your information and create a group coaching program around it.

5. Home Study Course- Throw all of the above together and create a rock solid home study course with audios, videos and a workbook!

As an new entrepreneur or an aspiring entrepreneur, getting known as an expert in your field is incredibly important for long term success.

Have you been to Disney World lately? I went with my 4 year old last April and it was such a GREAT time! I not only had a wonderful time watching my son enjoy everything under the son, I also took note and observed the ‘marketing’ behind everything at Disney. Have you ever done that?

It is pretty fascinating!

“You do what you do so well, that when others see you do it, they want to see you do it again, and will bring others to see you do it.” -Walt Disney

If you take a look at that first part of Walt’s quote…” You do what you do …” He is suggesting that we stop trying to copy others by doing what they are doing. In stead, we should pin point and identify what makes us so special, so unique, so remarkable.

So many people try to copy or imitate other people and the things they do. We tend to buy the things that our neighbors have, decorate our homes the way everyone else on the block has decorated, or try to fit into a size 2 like many of the women on T.V. are now in. We should ‘do what we do’…and do it well. Not what anyone else does.

“So well” are the next two words to examine. This automatically refers to not settling for anything less than the best. What ever you decide to do, give your 110 % and don’t stop. It may be difficult, but it certainly is not impossible.

“Do what you do so well, that when other see you do it…” Who are the others? Your clients, customers, the people you see and interact with everyday. This is your time to shine in the spotlight, demonstrate what you can do!

“When others see you do it, they will want to see you do it again…” if you have done the thing you are great at and have given it your 110%. Than your customers, clients, the people who you interact with everyday will want to see you do it again. This, as Joel states is called “repeat business.” People like to do business with people who are successful. The way to keep them coming back to you is to keep your uniqueness in tact and continue to deliver it well.

“You do what you do so well, that when others see you do it, they want to see you do it again and will bring others to see you do it.” This, according to Joel is thought of as “referral business.” Repeat customers, clients.. people who want more of YOU!

So, when you put it all together, and restate it; when you have done what you are great at and others are happy with what you have done, they will more than likely come back to see you AND tell others about you!
