These are tried and true ways and will work with any business. I discuss more about them in my book, Creating Customers For Life, but in a nutshell, this is what every business owner, mom entrepreneur, NEEDS to make happen:
Step 1. Get More Customers..The obvious! How do you do that? Think about how you run your business currently. As a mom entrepreneur, time is not enough. Getting customers/ clients needs to be a consistent practice. Analyze how you are currently doing so and re-evaluate what tweaks need to be done. Where does your target market hang out? How can you reach them in the most efficient manner? Online foums? Networking? Tele-conferences? Webinars? Speaking?
Step 2. Get your clients to make LARGER purchses! Are you currently up-selling to your current customers? If so, how is that working? If not, how can you start right now? Think about how all the fast food restaurants do this. How can you super-size YOUR product or service?
Step 3. Get your clients/customers to buy from you more often! – Give them a reason to want to do more business with you! How are you treating them? Do you sell them a product or service and forget abou thtem? I will tell you I don’t do any more business with people who completely forget about me. What can you do right now that will increase the ‘stick’ period of your customer/client?
Step4.Extend your clients/customers average buying lifetime- Find ways to retain them. Do you send them suprises? Gifts? Cards? Give appreciation workshops? If you aren’t doing this, you need to begin implementing this right away.
